Born on 16 March 1910, Mohammad Iftikhar Ali Khan was an Indian Nawab and cricket player. Iftikhar used to be the captain of the Indian national cricket team during the England tour in 1946. He played for the England team during the British India period from 1932 to 1934. His father was Nawab Mohammad Ibrahim Ali Khan and mother Shahr Bano Begum. Iftikhar has studied from Oxford University, London, after studies he came to India and started playing cricket. After this, he took over the throne of his father’s kingdom i.e. ‘Pataudi’.

It has been said in the reports that Ahmed Ali Khan was a relative of the famous poet Mirza Ghalib. Iftikhar Ali Khan died on 5 January 1952 in New Delhi.

Mansoor Ali Khan married film actress Sharmila Tagore with whom he had three children, Saif Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. Saif Ali Khan has four children Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan.
